Course Description

The online missionary training school consists of 20 different missions courses/modules. Each missions course focuses on one main topic and the articles, books, Bible studies, and videos revolve around that principle theme during that entire module. Students can register and enroll in individual modules or take the entire 20 module program to earn a Bible degree. Read through the descriptions below to see if certain modules interest you or if you would benefit from going through the entire missions training program. We recommend that students go in the order that the missions courses are listed below as they often times build upon each other and some refer back to lessons learned from previous modules.

During this missions course, we will be talking about Hermeneutics (Bible interpretation) and doing an overview of the Old and New Testament. It is important for cross-cultural laborers to appropriately be able to handle God’s word and teach others to do the same. We will learn to do inductive Bible study as well as Discovery Bible Studies (DBS). There will be a brief overview of each book of the Bible as well as information about geographical, historical, and cultural context of the Old and New Testament.
