Meet Zai Hidalgo

Zai

Hi, my name is Zaideh Hidalgo, often called Zai or Zed by my friends and family. I grew up, attended the same church all my life, and received Christ as my personal savior at the age of seven. My first ministry was teaching the Sunday school to handling Kiddie Club where I taught Arts to Sunday school students from age seven to 12. I am an artist by heart but I took up BS Biology in college as my pre-medicine course.

For almost nine years, God has been using me in the MEDIA ministry as a short documentary film producer. I have been a part of the music ministry, gospel team, and Lydianites, a ladies group who raises funds for our pastors and missionaries and hosts the annual Missions Conference.

People are often confused with my personality – some see me as elusive and aloof, quiet and reserved; while others find me outgoing, talkative and the life of the party. I am an ambivert. As an artist, I am an impressionist doing mostly impasto artworks with oil paint as my main medium.

I was an entrepreneur for a decade producing shows and planning events, and running a production design company until I needed to let go of my companies and start a new journey. I produced concerts, fashions shows, book launching, and small conferences and seminars. I have planned unnumbered weddings, debuts; and designed numerous production stages. I was also a professional host and presenter utilizing my voice not only for entertainment, but also more importantly for inspiring and encouraging people.

With a change of path, God lead me to Grow2Serve where I work as an administrative assistant to our Senior Director, Mark Morgenstern.
